In each era you'll enjoy reading colorfully illustrated articles that narrate the story of Texas, or use the read-along audio feature. Web links in each article take you to select websites where you can learn dig deeper into topics of special interest. Each volume includes a wide variety of activities--related topical studies, unit study activities, and critical thinking questions. The Teacher's Tips section in each volume gives you a broad summary of the issues impacting the era and provides suggestions for books and field trips. With print-outs included for reading guides, maps, activities, vocabulary, and tests, you have everything you need to immerse yourself in an interactive, hands-on history adventure!
